Wyoming Rock Itinerary

Day 1-Saturday, Arrive at Denver International Airport, flights should arrive between 9 am and Noon with a planned departure from the Final Approach cell lot at 12:30 pm. We spend the afternoon driving to Lander, WY and camp in the City Park.

Day 2-Sunday, We climb at Wild Iris at the OK corral area early and learn the ropes.  Then get a chance to hike and cool off in Louis Lake and settle into the lodge where we will fortunately get to stay until Saturday!

Day 3-Monday, Climb at Aspen Glade area of Wild Iris before heading back to Louis Lake for the night.

Day 4-Tuesday,We travel to Sinks Canyon to climb on the shady side at Aspen Grade in the morning then swimming at a natural water slide. We overnight at Louis Lake again.

Day 5-Wednesday, We climb near the Lodge at the Heart of Gold area, if weather and time permits we will climb at Fossil Hill in the evening.

Day 6- Thursday, Rest day to let our skin heal and enjoy a day of we swim in Louis Lake in the afternoon if weather permits.

Day 7-Friday, We hike out to the shady side of Sinks and climb at Heavy Metal wall and a chance to try some multi pitch! We will plan to have pizza at Gannett Grill 

Day 8-Saturday, We get one last shot at our Wild Iris projects before the transfer back towards Denver and camp near the Wyoming border for a closing campfire and final dinner.

Day 9-Sunday, Depart our campground around 8 am and arrive at Denver Airport around 11 am, pick ups for non flyers can be arranged between 11 am and 1 pm.
