Texas has some of the best winter climbing weather in the US, OWA bases it’s Winter operations out of the Texas hill country near Reimers Ranch, a premier limestone sport climbing area known for it’s steep climbing including tufus. We also operate at a nearby (just over an hour) Granite area called Enchanted Rock. Enchanted Rock has slab and crack routes of all grades and is the perfect place to hone those granite climbing skils, learn to trad climb or even do short multi-pitch climbing! Additionally Austin is the jumping off spot for El Potrero Chico Mexico climbing, Austin area climbers were key in developing this international destination that is 6 hours from our Winter base. We offer daily guided trips during the Winter and all inclusive packages!
